Samuel B. Lawler IV, Executive Chef of Catering Thyme, is commonly known as Chef Sam. He is the 6th generation to a long line of ancestors tracing back to the early 1900’s and evolving to a mother and son, family owned and operated business. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Sam is certified in Nutrition, Service, Food & Beverage cost control, Classical French and currently critiquing Gluten Free Menus. He is best know for his Beef Carving Stations and Shrimp & Grits, which placed in the People Choice Award. Undoubtedly Chef Sam is a young talent today, who will undoubtedly lead Catering Thyme into the future.
